I married my high school sweetheart in June of 1990,
have three amazing children, and now am a “SWEETIE“ to my grandchildren.
I was a hairdresser for 35 years and now have found my new joy in life through writing and publishing children’s books.
As if this wasn't enough, I now have ventured into the world of animated videos. The third book, I LOVE MY FAMILY, I DO is featured with a coordinating sing-along Youtube video. With the collaboration of my trusted friend and illustrator Zeynep, we were able to make this happen.
I can’t wait to bring more smiles to as many children’s faces as possible!

Carson is eagerly awaiting the first day of school. He has done lots of preparing and has been filled with excitement.
But as the big day draws near, his emotions begin to shift. What started as joy and anticipation quickly turns into anxiousness and fear.
I’m Starting School Today was written to show all children that they are not alone in their fears—and that their feelings are valid.
It’s important to share and acknowledge those emotions, but it’s just as important to face them with courage in order to grow and move forward.
